A likely vintage mid-century hand painted landscape vase marked Italy. Signed W Wiel. The vase depicts a mountainous water view with trees and buildings. There are many blue and gray tones with contrasting red roof lines. One side has a unique concave warp inward. There is some visible crackle in the glaze up close and some light soiling. Please see the upper edge of the vase, there is a very small chip in the glaze that is barely visible and general vintage wear. Also a possible small hairline along this upper edge. The base says Italy 150/4 without known meaning. Size: 12.75x4.5x2.75”.
