French Floral Oil Painting, 17.75"

A beautiful floral still life oil painting in heavily gilded wood frame. Signed. The oil painting is on board and securely held in the frame with nails. The flowers are red, orange, white, purple, yellow. The flowers are in a tan pitcher or ewer. The background is a beautiful, rich dark green and dark brown. The frame around the painting is ridged upward with some bumped white areas. There is a rubbed or chipped area near the upper right corner (pictured). Frame dimensions: 17.75 x 15.75". Painting dimensions: 9 x 7". The date of origin is unknown. Hanging hardware is no longer present.
