Profusely illustrated with forty color plates per book with corresponding descriptions. The white endpages are heavily tanned. There are areas of heavier foxing. Some books have very little foxing. Volume five has a dark brown spot along the upper edge of pages in the gutter (pages 1-37). The cover of volume five us lightly rubbed. There is wear on the lower spine of Volume 4.
