Baret Ware English Tin, 5”
A Baret Ware tin with a lid and floral design. Made with a beautiful design with multi-colors including pink, teal, gold or yellow, and a shade of beige or peach speckles on the side. There is some rust on the metal rim base. There is some bumped areas along the lid rim. The top finial appears to be brass. There is beautiful floral decoration on the lid. The Baret manufacturing markings are on the base. The lid holds securely.
Baret Ware tins were made in England and held giftable products of all sorts that were imported to the US. They were held by Americans for their beautiful appearance. They often came to the US from Eaton's Store in Canada. Most likely from the 1950's and 1960's.
